Simple machines: building a robotic hand or a rubber-band powered car
In the workshop, you can choose whether to build a cardboard robotic hand that can be controlled with strings (we will also use a hot glue gun and straws) or build a self-propelled car powered by a rubber band from ice cream sticks, straws, grill sticks, and bottle caps. Handcrafted machines bring a lot of joy!
The recommended age for participating in the workshop is 8+ years.

Make Your Own Flashlight or USB LED Lamp
In the workshop, participants can assemble either a flashlight or a USB LED lamp.
In the flashlight assembly workshop, each participant can put together their own small but mighty flashlight! Participants will learn the basics of soldering electronic components and will take the completed device home!
In the USB LED lamp workshop, participants will assemble their own desk lamp powered by electricity from a USB charger. This lamp with adjustable brightness can be assembled by participants with some soldering experience.
Target group: Young people from the 5th grade onwards are welcome to assemble the flashlight. Younger children can participate with a parent. The USB LED lamp assembly requires some prior soldering experience and is especially suitable for students from the 8th grade onwards.

Every electrician needs to check for the presence of voltage in a wire or to detect the location of a wire in a wall.
In the workshop, we will build a non-contact voltage detector that can detect the presence of electrical current without touching the wires. The device signals the presence of voltage with sound and by lighting up an LED. You will learn what a printed circuit board is, what components are, and how to solder—a skill that a true robotics enthusiast will practice extensively. We will solder various components onto the printed circuit board to build the non-contact voltage detector.
Each workshop participant will receive a hardware kit necessary for building their voltage detector, and after the workshop, you can take the finished device home.

This is a machine vision workshop, where a brief overview of what machine vision is and what it can be used for will be provided. A practical example created is a Pacman-like demo, where one robot is controlled from a computer, and other robots automatically chase the controlled robot. If the pursuers catch the controlled robot, the game ends.

In the workshop, we will build a seven-LED dice that, upon pressing a button, will start flashing the lights to imitate the rolling of a dice and then show the result obtained.
