Since seeing the moon in detail through a small telescope as a small child, he became captivated with the opportunities waiting to be unlocked for humanity in the wider universe. But growing up in Australia with no space industry, he had resigned to the idea that this career was never going to be an option. This changed later in life while completing a degree in electrical engineering at the University of Melbourne, when he learned of ‘cubesats’ which led him to found the Melbourne Space Program, a volunteer body concerned with the development of the Australian space industry through encouraging the development of new space-related innovations.

Robotex International is held in Estonia
Estonia connects the dots between Scandinavia, Central Europe and what lies to the east. Estonia’s capital Tallinn is the best preserved medieval city in Northern Europe. About 50% of the country is forest. The population is just 1.3 million but the area is larger than Denmark and Holland.
At the moment, Starship Technologies is operating a global fleet of autonomous delivery robots. But it all started a long time ago when our founder Ahti Heinla participated in a robotic football competition at Robotex. Thank you!Kristjan KorjusStarship
Robotex? What an outstanding program promoting open ended robotics for all ages. They are so good, we at RoboRAVE International are now partnering with them through two shared challenges, Entrepreneurial & Sumo. Come play at both!Russ Fisher-IvesRoboRAVE
