Nathan has studied Computer Engineering and Robotics in TalTech and the University of Tartu. He has been a project manager at Reminet and Trüb Baltica AG. Currently he is a deacon and board member of the church of Valguse Tee and he possesses a widespread experience in organizing different events.
Ave Laas, the former head of Robotex stated: “It was an important goal for us to find a person who could bring the Robotex festival and international cooperation to a new level. Estonia’s economic future is correlated with its youths interests in STEM-fields. Nathan is a people person, who understands the wishes and interests of the youth today.
Nathan stated: “Robotex is important to me, because, as an engineer, I understand its necessity and value. Through Robotex I wish to promote STEM-fields to Estonian youth. On the international arena, I wish to bring Estonia to the forefront of robotics. I believe that Robotex is a unique platform, where both students, businesses and the public sector stand to gain. I am thankful that the team of Robotex trusts my vision and with this team, we will continue to bring to You the world’s largest Robotics festival!”
