Robotex International 2021 will be held on 5.-7. november in Saku Suurhall (Tallinn, Estonia). Thousands of engineers, executives, students and families come together to be inspired by industry leaders, build robots for various challenges and learn about the latest technology innovations.

We’re excited to announce that Robotex International is hosted in Tallinn, Estonia in 2021 for the 20th time in a row. The festival will be jam-packed with amazing competitions, buzzing Expo hall, workshops, and much more.

Competitions for beginners:

LEGO Line Following – The task for line following robots is to drive through the track marked with a black line as fast as possible. Two robots are competing alongside with each other on parallel mirrored tracks. Robots must me made of LEGOs.

LEGO Sumo – LEGO Sumo robot has to push its opponent out of the ring while following all the rules of competitions.

3KG LEGO Sumo – LEGO Sumo robot has to push its opponent out of the ring while following all the rules of competitions. Competitions are for all age groups.

Robo League – The Robo League means demonstrating of static and moving robotic models. Model can include different components, but has to be programmed and move on self-designed competition area.

Intermediate competitions:

Line Following Enhanced – The task for line following robots is to drive through the track marked with a black line as fast as possible. Two robots are competing alongside with each other on parallel mirrored tracks. There are obstacles on the track.

Line Following – The task for line following robots is to drive through the track marked with a black line as fast as possible. Two robots are competing alongside with each other on parallel mirrored tracks.

Maze Solving – In this competition, the mission of the autonomous Micromouse (robot) is to negotiate a maze from specified corner to its centre in the shortest possible time.

Folkrace – The aim of the competition is to simulate the immersive nature of the rallycross. Up to five robots are allowed to access the track at the same time.

Mini Sumo – Mini sumo robot has to push its opponent out of the ring while following all the rules of competitions. Competitions are for all age groups.

Girls’ Firefighting – Firefighting is a competition designed for girls. The aim of the competition is to encourage girls to develop their engineering and technology skills. The task for firefighter robots is to find the locations of four candles placed on the competition area and put out the candles in a certain amount of time.

Advanced competitions:

3KG Sumo – Sumo robot has to push its opponent out of the ring while following all the rules of competitions.

Mega sumo – Sumo robot has to push its opponent out of the ring while following all the rules of competitions. Competitions are for all age groups.

Drone Race – Unmanned aerial robots have to pass obstacles and be faster than their opponents while doing so.
